Cool things we've done for People Mover

Bike, Rack and Roll Campaign
Campaign Timeline – September 23 – October 31, 2020
Campaign Budget – $63,000
Task Description – The task included a Fat Tire Bike Rack Campaign to educate on the fact that People Mover buses were now equipped with Fat Tire bike racks. This was a new effort for People Mover, and additional materials were created not only to show availability but also to provide simple education on how to use the new racks on the bus.
Future Elder created multiple creative concepts for consideration with accompanying mood boards, drafted all scripts, including the instructional video, secured talent within the biking community, and implemented the design across all platforms. All final files were supplied to the client and have subsequently been updated to remove the “Now” language, as they have been on buses for six years.

Campaign Timeline – October 2022 – May 2023
Campaign Budget – $50,000
Task Description –
According to the Transit Plan, which includes feedback from the Anchorage Community, one of the top priorities for improving operations for People Mover is to implement Transit Security. As of mid-August of 2022, that request will become a reality. A Transit Security contractor was chosen, and Transit Security was on the streets by mid-August. They wear yellow vests that identify each individual as Transit Security and are in People Mover vehicles and will travel routes daily. They will not be on the busses; however, they may board to de-escalate issues as they arrive. They will be unarmed and will visit the priority stops on a frequent basis and may check ridership and prepare riders to show fare.
The task included materials to promote the addition of Transit Security to the People Mover suite of services, promoting the fact that the community asked and People Mover answered. Messaging should incorporate details of the efforts People Mover has taken to ensure the safety of riders in Anchorage and basic details about what it means for the community.
Future Elder created multiple creative concepts for consideration, drafted all scripts, animated the elements to be as inclusive as possible, and implemented the design across all platforms. All final files were supplied to the client and have subsequently been updated to include current messaging.

Task Description – During the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, People Mover ridership decreased by 70% and despite the restoration of a full-service schedule and addition of a new route in September 2021, ridership continued to be down about 50%.
The task included materials to promote existing People Mover bus service to restore ridership in the way of former and new riders. Future Elder created multiple creative concepts for consideration, drafted all scripts, including radio and Spotify ads, secured talent within the community, and implemented the design across all platforms.
